many times we have had the privilege and pleasure, not only to meet the authors of the books we were working on face to face, but even to be trusted to portrait them with our camera. the close encounter with a writer and the seemingly casual conversation during the photo-shoot help tremendously in finding the right approach to both the person's portrait and and the portrait of his/her text on the face of their book. our portraits have been used on many books and numerous major magazines and newspapers in germany, switzerland and austria.
